Aggies! I am proud to announce the establishment of our very own endowment scholarship in partnership with the Texas A&M Foundation. The plans and goals for the endowment were in place and announced during the 2016 local Aggie Muster ceremony. The account is now finalized and we can begin contributing to this great cause. The scholarship fund creates a lasting legacy for our club by benefiting future Aggies from out of state wanting to attend our great University.
We are now on a mission to fully fund the $25,000 principal to allow our club to distribute a $1000 scholarship every year for life! The foundation allows up to 5 years to meet the goal, but I believe we can do this much sooner. As soon as we meet our goal, we can begin helping students. The fund was established with contributions from our club scholarship fund given Aggies over the past several years + a generous contribution during Muster.
Donating is simple and can be done online with a credit card. All donations are tax deductible and may be eligible for your company match program.
To donate follow the guided steps online, here is an overview of what to expect:
An e-mail receipt and confirmation will arrive in your inbox for your tax purposes.
If you prefer to mail a check or use a company match, you can use the account number (on the memo line of the check: Account number 04-36036) to ensure the gift is going to the correct account. Checks should be payable and mailed to:
Texas A&M Foundation
401 George Bush Dr.
College Station, TX 77840
I will give regular updates on the status of our goal! Thank you and we appreciate your help in making this a success.
Gig ‘Em,

Welcome to the Club David Sedei ’15! David accepted the nomination as the new president of the Sacramento Area Texas A&M Club at Muster this year. We want to thank our former president John McCarthy ’79 for his years of service to the club.
Below is a message from David:
Howdy Ags!
My name is David Sedei, Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2015, and I am truly honored to be the new president of the Sacramento Area A&M Club.
I am extremely fortunate to have been offered a job to come work for the Sacramento Kings in their ticket sales department. I am a first generation Aggie who is maroon & white to the core, and have a mother who is a TU grad (ssssss) that couldn’t keep me from attending school in Aggieland. My passion for A&M burns bright and I am excited to spread that passion in the state of California.
I look forward to connecting with you all in the upcoming months, BTHO football season, and creating new Aggie memories together.
My contact information is listed below. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I would also love any feedback to help make this organization even better!
Thanks and Gig’Em,
David Sedei ’15

Thank you everyone who attended Muster this year! We had well over 80 Aggies packing the patio at Lucille’s in Rocklin, CA. It was really great to spend the evening with fellow Aggies. Check out the photos from the event: https://goo.gl/photos/EuYhiCgDGsWZRLBFA
More information coming soon about our new club president, David Sedei, and the endowment scholarship.
The Texas A&M Gymnastics team will be in Sacramento for the NAIGC National Championships. This is a great opportunity for our club members to come out and support our school. It is rare that we can support A&M in our own city, so we should take advantage of this.
Competition will take place in the Sacramento Convention Center April 14-16, 2016.
We compete Thursday and competition begins at 1:10! That’s Session 2 on the meet schedule.
Details on the TAMU Gymnastics web site.

Howdy Aggies!
The 18th annual Music City Bowl game in Nashville pits the SEC Texas A&M Aggies against the ACC Louisville Cardinals in a holiday celebration at Nissan Stadium on Wednesday, December 30 at 4:00pm (local time).
Debbie Quintana has opened up her house to the Sacramento A&M Club, so we can get together with fellow Aggies and watch a classic football game. If anyone has been to a game watching party at Debbie’s house in the past, you know it is a great time. I have a feeling we will be busting out the Aggie War Hymn between the 3rd and final quarter. The club will provide drinks and dinner. Debbie has graciously volunteered to make a couple batches of chili w/cornbread for the event (Chili Verde & TX Chili). If anyone would like to contribute a side dish, please coordinate directly with Debbie.
Debbie’s house will be open 30 minutes prior to kickoff for some pre-game drinks and to get fired up for the game.
Please RSVP directly to Debbie (debquintana@yahoo.com or cell: 916-295-6734) with the number of people attending. You must RSVP by Sunday, December 27, so we will have time to get the right amount of food and drinks. When you RSVP Debbie will give you directions to her house.
